Serving the Dorchester community since 2002, Dorchester Badminton Club is a vibrant organisation that brings together badminton enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. Our mission is to promote the sport of badminton, foster a sense of community, and provide a welcoming environment for players to develop their skills and have fun.
Dorchester Badminton Club is a member-driven club that offers regular badminton sessions, coaching opportunities, and competitive events. We pride ourselves on our inclusive and friendly atmosphere, making it the perfect place for beginners to learn and experienced players to challenge themselves. We are proud to be affiliated with Badminton England, the national governing body for badminton in England.
Club sessions are held every Friday evening from 8 PM to 10 PM at the St. Osmund's Community Sports Centre.
Yes, you need to be a registered member of the Dorchester Badminton Club to attend the weekly club sessions. However, we welcome non-members to join us for 6 trial sessions before deciding on membership.
To ensure our club is the right fit for you, we invite you to attend up to six club nights. This will give us the opportunity to assess your ability and suitability for our sessions. After this initial period, if everything looks like a good match, we’ll invite you to complete a new member form and set up your payment details. We look forward to seeing you on the court!
